Large-Eddy Simulation: PALM junior research group
The work of our junior research group focuses on the development of an urban climate model based on PALM that shall allow building-resolving simulation of city quarters and even entire cities. Moreover, we investigate near-surface small-scale turbulent processes in the atmospheric boundary layer, including the interaction between soil-vegetation and the atmosphere.
