Leave the A7 at junction "Hannover-Nord" and take the A352 heading towards "Hannover- Flughafen (airport)". Follow the A352 drive past the airport, continue straight ahead until the A352 leads onto the A2 towards Dortmund (junction "Hannover-West). Keep right. The right lane will take you to the exit "Hannover-Herrenhausen". Leave the motorway here and take the B6 which crosses the A2 and takes you towards "Hannover-Zentrum".	Take the junction (60) "Hannover-Süd", leave the A7 and take the A37 towards Hannover, Messe . Follow the motorway as far as the junction B65 "Südschnellweg". Take the B65 heading west until you reach "Landwehrkreisel". Then take the B6 towards "Nienburg".	Coming from Dortmund or Braunschweig you follow the motorway and take the exit "Hannover-Herrenhausen". Take the B6 "(Westschnellweg)" towards Hannover and "Hannover-Zentrum".
Leave the motorway at the exit "Herrenhausen", keep right and turn off right. You will cross the tram tracks. Follow the "Herrenhäuser Straße" for 1000m, the tram tracks run parallel to you on your right hand side. After ca. 1000m a signpost indicates "Universitätsliegenschaft, Fachbereich Gartenbau und Landespflege". You will find us in this building.

Using public transport from main station to our institute

There are a lot of possibilities to come to our institute using public transport, depending on the time where you want to come.We would recommend using the sites of Deutsche Bundesbahn or the regional public transport Uestra with the start station "Hannover, HBF" and the exit station "Hannover, Herrenhäuser Gärten"

Leave Hanover central station (Hannover Hbf) through the entrance hall. Go straight ahead and take the pedestrian precinct (Bahnhofstraße). After 300m you will reach the underground station Kröpke. Most underground trains go via this station. Purchase an underground ticket (for one zone). Take line 4 towards Garbsen or 5 towards Stöcken. Get off the train at Herrenhäuser Gärten. To your right you will see the yellow buildings of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. This is where you will find our institute, even though it is part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics.
